A fresh and gourmet aperitif with the Quai Sud planters
Embark for the West Indies with the Quai Sud planters! Gourmet as you wish with their fruits bursting with the Caribbean sun, our planter punches put your taste buds to the party. A little rum, lots of fruit, and here is a cocktail as exotic as it is exotic for your summer evenings with friends: Caribbean atmosphere in the garden, around the swimming pool 😎… With our 20 years of experience in mixology, we have developed a range of very aromatic planters, with unique flavors and textures, with quality ingredients. We tested dozens of blends (well… in moderation all the same 🥴) to find the flavors that would delight your taste buds from the first sip. And as always, it was our team with nimble little hands who lovingly designed and packaged these delicious planters, in our Signes workshops in the Var. Distant flavors okay, but 100% made in France, it's better 😉.What exactly is a planter? 🤔
You understood, a planter is fruity and alcoholic… But what exactly is a planter? Explanation 🧐. In the tradition of the islands, it is a mixture made up of white or amber rum, with the addition of fruit juice and possibly spices. Most often it contains orange juice, pineapple juice and vanilla. We then obtain a 15% rum punch who was given the name of planter, because the owners of sugar cane plantations drank it… a lot 🍹. At Quai Sud, we have improved the original recipe by replacing the juice with fruit pulp, in order to give it a creamy and soft texture. For a punch, this gourmet sensation is completely new! 🤩 To make the most of it, we shake very hard and we taste the planter very fresh in a tumbler filled with ice. Pineapple-coconut, banana-Sultana, red fruits… At Quai Sud, our favorite is the mango-passion planter 100% exotic. But to tell the truth… we love them all!PDO rum from Guadeloupe in the spotlight
To make our delicious planters, we have chosen a white rum, less strong than an amber rum and which allows the fruit aromas to fully express themselves. But it's not just any rum. It's the AOP rum from Guadeloupe Marie-Galante, an exceptional agricultural rum several times gold medalist for its sweet and fruity taste 🥇. This AOP rum is produced in the only eco-positive area in the world, because yes, at Quai Sud, even our planter punches respect the planet ✊. Your taste buds deserve it. Decorated with birds from the islands, the Quai Sud planters invite you on a gourmet journey to the West Indies, between the strength of rum and the sweetness of fruit. Put them in the spotlight duringa traditional Creole aperitif, between cod fritters, shrimp fritters and fresh fruit skewers… and of course, with a good dose of zouk and beguine 😉.Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, consume with moderation.
